Road Trip!

CT is the place to be, and so scarecrow, Kathryn in MA, RevDeb and I headed south. RevDeb offered me a ride in her air conditioned car - but I was, as usual, late.... and so drove down on my own to Ned Lamont's Meriden office. No doubt I was in the right place, the Kiss-mobile's new friend - the Say-No-to-Joe van was parked outside.
Inside, I met up with other democracy
loving patriots to go door-to-door and otherwise volunteer for the
Ned Lamont campaign. Canvassed for 4 plus hours in 90 degree heat
with Vivian and Bayard, and then back to the office to meet up with
other groups as they came back from canvassing... off to see Ned at
the New Haven Gospel Music Festival. We weren't alone - in addition
to the music lovers we saw Gwen Ifill , who told us that CT was the
place to be... 'course we already knew THAT. Then off Sullivan's

and events.
