A quick update... Sunday canvassing didn't get started until 1pm, so I caught up on sleep, ate a decent breakfast, drank many cups of coffee and hit the streets with high energy. The weather even cooperated with less heat and humidity (or perhaps I'm getting used to it), so we made good progress. The CT folks have been working months for this and it shows... excellent welcoming organization.
After dinner another meetup at Sullivan's. So many warm enthusiastic people with interesting and inspiring stories... I didn't want to leave... CTKeith's history of the "dump joe" efforts, discussing with Debra what we should do to help the people of the middle east, Gina and TRex's sources of personal and political inspiration... I feel honored and blessed to be in here.
